Microsoft Teams Integration

This feature enables a cloud-to-cloud integration between Poly Lens and Microsoft Teams Admin Center, allowing administrators more control and customization of devices registering to the Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway Service. Once applied to the device(s), all settings from Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway will be retrieved on behalf of the device by Poly Lens and applied as a part of the device's Configuration Policy. Settings from Microsoft will take the highest precedence over all other policy layers and can be viewed in the My Settings view of any device enabled with the setting. A lock icon is displayed next to this label to indicate it cannot be modified or deleted in Poly Lens.

Note: This feature is only available when devices are provisioned to Poly Lens through the Device Provisioning feature.

Note: Updating any of the settings for the Lens Assisted Provisioning Feature (SIP Gateway Region, Device Language) at the following Policy levels (Model, Group, or Site) will start the integration over with the Teams SIP Gateway platform. A new deviceID and provisioning URL will be sent for authentication. When changing these settings, please use with caution as it can cause a signout event and the user will need to sign back in during the next provisioning cycle (typically every 24 hours) unless you explicitly reboot. Please refer to the Clear Cache option when available.

Clear Cache

The Clear Cache button will allow you to start the integration over with the Teams SIP Gateway platform. A new deviceID and provisioning URL will be sent for authentication.

The purpose of Clear Cache is to generate a new Device ID and provisioning URL for each device that needs to authenticate with the Teams SIP Gateway platform. This process can help resolve some common problems, such as the device not being found with the Bulk Sign-In tag, or the device being signed out unexpectedly. Using Clear Cache will impact all devices associated with the policy and will sign out and re-onboard all devices associated with the policy.
Note: Devices will be impacted by this change during its next polling cycle (i.e. within the next 24 hours).
